Lake Lanier Fishing Report. Merry Christmas.
Report Date: December 21, 2009
Shane Watson Guide Service Report (12-21-09). The striper fishing remains very good on Lake Lanier. Today, we had a good mid-day umbrella rig bite in the middle to the backs of creeks. Capt. Mack's 4 arm u-rigs fished 100 to a 120 feet out worked well. White jigs with charteuse trailers worked best. Fish your rigs 3.0 mph for best results. Downlined bluebacks and trout are also working well. If the fish are boiling on top, a leadhead fluke or white bucktail will catch these surfacing fish. The Guides, Staff, & Families of Shane Watson Guide Service and Hammond's Fishing Center would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We Appreciate Everyone's Business This Past Year. Good Fishing.
